What happens

Jack Benny and Phil Harris play a round of golf at Hillcrest, with Mary Livingstone and Rochester joining the outing. Jack has been getting unusually energetic with the spring weather, and the two men have a small wager on the game. Phil's play is far from sharp, and Jack's swing gives him trouble from the first tee. The round is interrupted by birds, a stranger, and a sprawling search for a lost ball. This Jack Benny episode from the 1942 radio series first aired on March 22, 1942, with Benny, Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
