What happens
Jack Benny and Mary Livingstone spend a Sunday at home in Beverly Hills, where a series of unexpected visitors and noises disrupt their day. Rochester, the butler, deals with Polly the parrot, who keeps playing Jack's song on the piano, while Dennis Day arrives trying to sell magazines and Phil Harris drops by with a proposal about cutting the program. Jack and Mary then head out to the movies. The episode is a comedy of errands, interruptions and mistaken identities, from a blocked theater balcony to a heated exchange with a woman in a crowded cinema. This broadcast is from the Jack Benny program on NBC, first aired on November 25, 1951, starring Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
