What happens
Jack Benny returns to his Beverly Hills home after eight weeks touring military camps, and his friends gather to hear about an expense account reckoning. Benny reviews the expense accounts of Phil Harris, Don Wilson and Mary Livingstone, and Rochester recounts the trip's sandwich sales. A series of letters, a note from the man who rented Benny's house, and a visit to the railroad station with Mary, where a mix-up over a suitcase arises, fill the rest of the broadcast. Jack Benny stars, with Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Eddie Anderson and Don Wilson, in this episode of the Jack Benny program, first heard in 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
