What happens

Joe and Nancy, a newly married couple, stop on a moonlit bridge while driving through the woods on their honeymoon. They decide to spend the night at a tourist cabin, where an older woman, Mrs. Watson, is kind to them and offers them homemade apple cider. Later, Nancy is found dead, and Joe is left shaken and frightened, unsure what has happened. He and his wife's situation grows tense as he wonders who could be responsible and whether anyone will believe him. The story follows Joe as he tries to make sense of what he has seen. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
