What happens
In a war-ravaged village near Shanghai, Major Roger Mason meets a wild-eyed refugee named Stefan on his way to Camp 14. Stefan is terrified of a warning that the Black Dragon Society has marked those in the camp for death. Mason takes him in, and after Stefan is shot in the night, the camp's two resistance leaders, Mia's father Ransing and Paotung, are found dead. The Inner Sanctum Mysteries episode Death by Scripture aired on CBS on October 9, 1945, and stars Stefan Schnabel. Mason and the camp staff struggle to understand who among them could have known where the men would be alone.
