What happens
John Clay wakes in a clean white room after an operation, unable to recall how he got there. He is attended by a nurse and by doctors named Stone and Rogers, and his son-in-law Alec Barnard visits him. Clay grows frightened when he learns his dog has died and is given medicine he suspects is meant to keep him sleeping. He has recurring dreams of an endless stone corridor lined with doors bearing names. Clay tries to phone for help, but his calls fail to reach anyone, and he begins to doubt what is real.

Listen for: Clay's repeated dreams of the corridor of doom and the closed doors marked with names
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
