What happens

Geraldine Reeves, widow of composer David Reeves, lives alone on a small island where her husband died in a fire two years ago. Each night she hears his last composition played on a piano, and a mysterious caller warns her that she has only hours to live. Dr. Pryzing and Charity stay with her as the telephone lines are cut, the car is tampered with, and a bridge is found washed out. Harvey and Laura, David's brother and sister-in-law, arrive and the group begins to suspect one another. This Inner Sanctum Mysteries drama was broadcast on November 29, 1944 on CBS, starring Leslie Woods as Geraldine Reeves.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
