What happens
Dr. Robert Rand, a museum scientist, and his companions capture a gorilla in the African jungle and bring it back to Professor Converse's museum in New York. Rand grows uneasy as the animal seems to recognize him and stare at him with unsettling intelligence. Converse treats the ape kindly, but Rand becomes convinced the gorilla is dangerous and that it knows something about him. The first part of the story builds this tension between the men and the watchful animal in the museum's old wing.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
