What happens

Captain Pike and his crew find a derelict ship, the Death Ship, drifting in the Caribbean with its crew apparently lost. Three men aboard the vessel begin to suspect that something is wrong with the ship and with their own sense of time and place. Their navigation seems to point the wrong way, and the sun rises in an unexpected direction. Strange events and unsettling exchanges build tension as the men argue over what they have found. Part of the broadcast is given over to a commercial for Carter's Little Liver Pills. The series is Inner Sanctum Mysteries, and this episode originally aired on August 10, 1941.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
