What happens
Karen Jeremy, a nervous woman who fears closing walls, and her husband Horace move into the Meadow Mansion, a house once owned by a naturalist. In its drawing room, a wall of small mirrors surrounds them, and Karen becomes fixated on a painting of a glamorous woman named Delilah that she dislikes. Horace forbids her to touch it, and her resentment grows as she fears losing him to the portrait's beauty. Tension rises as the couple's household grows strained and questions begin to arise about where the household's maid, Alice, has gone. This is an episode of the Inner Sanctum Mysteries radio series, first broadcast on January 8, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
