What happens
George Gidden, a truck driver, picks up a hitchhiker named Franz Kiroly at a cemetery and later finds a 1940 newspaper clipping about Kiroly's death in an accident. Investigating, he visits Kiroly's brother Istvan, a sick man who insists Franz died ten years ago. Istvan's answers and a missing finger in a photograph raise doubts about the burial, and George decides to dig up the grave. The Inner Sanctum Mysteries series aired this episode on February 26, 1951, and the transcript does not name the lead actors beyond the roles they played.
