What happens
Lou Dunn and his wife Dottie, a couple short of money in a boarding house near the East River, learn that their upstairs neighbor William Jensen has twenty thousand dollars. They plan to kill him with gas and make it look like suicide, and Lou visits Jensen's room before he goes to bed. Their plan quickly starts to unravel as the landlady and the police become involved. Elspeth Eric and Santos Ortega star in this Inner Sanctum Mysteries episode, first broadcast on May 22, 1945.
