What happens

The Green Hornet investigates a labor strike at the Beavers plant, where a reporter named Carson and a union leader named Gerber appear caught up in a racket run by Slooter. Britt Reid, the Green Hornet's alter ego, and his valet Kato follow the trail from the Daily Sentinel offices to the union hall, while a mysterious figure known only as Mr. X looms over the events. Reid suspects a single criminal mastermind stands behind the strike and sends Kato to track the men involved. The story moves quickly between the city streets, a hunting shack and the union meeting, with threats, kidnapping and gunfire along the way. This recap covers the early part of the episode. The Green Hornet series aired in 1941, and this installment is dated June 21, 1941.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
