What happens

Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel and secretly the Green Hornet, comes west to see the Rose Bowl game with his father Dan Reid and his secretary Linda Travis. The tickets they buy from a scalper turn out to be counterfeit, part of a ticket racket. Britt suspects the racketeers are connected to the crooked lawyer-turned-racketeer Oliver Perry, who once tried to expose the Green Hornet, and Britt sets out to track down the scheme.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
