What happens

Journalist Reed of the Daily Sentinel and crime reporter Conway discuss the gambling ring in the city, and Conway's daughter Polly comes to meet him at the airfield. Conway is seeking evidence against a corrupt sheriff and his crooked deputies, and he offers the paper a scoop in exchange for information on the Green Hornet. Polly, driving her car, is stopped by a gunman and taken to the offices of the Daily Sentinel, where the staff debate the story and where Reed's men search for the Green Hornet. The transcript covers only the first part of the episode, so the full course of the story is not shown here.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
