What happens

Brit Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel and secretly the Green Hornet, investigates the murder of a messenger on a city-bound express from Washington. The messenger was carrying papers from South America to a consulate, and the killer, disguised as the Green Hornet, used a gas pen on the chauffeur and left a Hornet seal behind. Reid's reporter Mike Axford visits the consulate and meets its official Pedro Camus, while Reid and his valet Kato plan a trap. The Green Hornet's own Black Beauty is brought into the case as the investigation grows more tangled. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
