What happens
Britt Reid, the young publisher of the Daily Sentinel, pursues a corruption case involving substandard war-worker housing at West End. After building inspector Cutler is murdered outside the civic building, his widow comes to Reid for help, and she is soon abducted. Reid, secretly the Green Hornet, enlists his valet Cato to examine the reports Cutler carried, sifting the commissioner's files for evidence. The Green Hornet series aired on radio, and this installment, The Bigger They Are, is dated February 22, 1945. Reid's investigation pushes the officials involved to act and draws the Green Hornet into direct confrontation with the men responsible.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
