What happens

Britt Reid, a young newspaper publisher who secretly fights crime as the Green Hornet, takes on the Big Four gang, a criminal organization run by a mysterious voice known only as Mr. Big. After an attempt on Reid's life, the Daily Sentinel pushes its campaign against the rackets, and drugstore owner Ferris is pressured by the gang to join its association. Reporter Casey and editor Gunnegan follow the story as it unfolds, and the Green Hornet begins moving against the gang's members. The first part of the episode focuses on the gang's threats to Ferris and the chase to uncover the men behind them.

A city, including a neighborhood drugstore, the Daily Sentinel newspaper office, Ferris's home, and the Blackwood Hotel.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
