What happens
Scrapper Maguire, a fourteen-year-old boy whose father Lefty Maguire was once jailed, is teased at school and quits. Lefty, now working as a night guard at a warehouse, is approached by old associates Muggsy Lewis and Pete, who want him to open the door so they can steal cigarette trucks. Lefty refuses, and Scrapper later falls in with the two men after they send him a message. Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, takes an interest in the boy and checks the old newspaper files on his father's case. Reid and Kato head for the warehouse in the Black Beauty to see what happens when Scrapper arrives at nine o'clock. The series is The Green Hornet, and this episode, Scrapper, first aired on November 21, 1944.
A poor district of an American city in the 1940s, including a basement room, a neighborhood pool room, the Daily Sentinel newspaper offices, and a Water Street warehouse.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
