What happens

Britt Reid, a daring young newspaper publisher, and his Filipino valet Cato work to stop a racket in this episode of The Green Hornet, broadcast on 1944-12-12. Reporter Laurie is upset after Preston Parker dies in a high-dive from the Stanley Hotel, and a fur-coat clue leads to Dolores Caliani. Her attorney Pierce offers a deal to the police in exchange for a light sentence, involving the Daily Sentinel's reward for the Green Hornet's capture. Reid begins to follow the case, as the Green Hornet himself.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
