Britt Reid, a young publisher who secretly fights crime as the Green Hornet, works to expose City Councilman Grayson as a bribe-taker. Reid, with his valet Kato, confronts Grayson at his home, and the Hornet plans a trap involving a messenger and a cash payment. Reid recruits Lenore Case, his trusted secretary, to help. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
