What happens

Ed Lowry, a reporter for the Daily Sentinel, has been dating Estelle Ritter, a blonde he met only a week earlier. When a bank holdup occurs, Estelle accidentally trips a guard, and Lowry vouches for her to Sergeant Burke, who lets her go. Publisher Britt Reid grows suspicious of the timing and of Estelle's background. Lowry, meanwhile, senses something wrong when Estelle announces she is leaving town suddenly. Reid, as the Green Hornet, sets out to learn the truth about the girl and the robbery, and Kato helps him trace the trail to a deserted brickyard.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
