What happens

Rick Reed, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, and his valet Kato are in Miami for a newspaper convention. Reed sends his staff to the Cuban seaside town of Cardenas, where they spot notorious gangster Floyd Hammond and a known associate of his. Meanwhile, a finger man named Bill Farris has arranged a million-dollar armored truck robbery, and the gang is preparing to escape by boat. The Sentinel's reporters begin tracing the crime back to the men they saw in Cardenas, and Reed decides to act himself. This is a Green Hornet episode from the radio series, sponsored by Orange Crush, first broadcast on October 10, 1952, with Jack McCarthy in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
