What happens
Political boss Craig Redland plots to have his candidate James McLean win the county commissioner election by blaming the Green Hornet for a campaign of bombings and threats against McLean's rival, Edward Gilmer. His henchman Pete Sterling carries out attacks, and Redland sends threatening letters bearing the Green Hornet's seal. Publisher Britt Reid, who secretly is the Green Hornet, and Commissioner Higgins doubt the Hornet is responsible and begin to suspect Redland. Reid, in disguise, overhears Redland's further scheme from the next room while Higgins prepares to close in.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
