What happens
The Green Hornet investigates a courtroom racket in which Robertson, a court official, collects a percentage from every court worker in the state. Court clerk Cole plans to expose Robertson to the Daily Sentinel, and reporter Lowry and his colleagues wait at the newspaper office for him. Cole never arrives, and the Sentinel staff begin to suspect that something has happened to him. Reporter Casey, Lowry's aide Reed, and the Green Hornet and Kato search for answers, pressing Robertson and his associate Ryan for the truth about Cole's whereabouts.
