What happens

Tommy Barra, a racketeer who has just been released from federal prison, plans to move his criminal operation to Europe and sends his lieutenant Django Kimmons to collect money from his territories. Willie McLean and Joe Rucker plot to take control of the crime organization for themselves. Kimmons returns with a suitcase of cash, and a shooting at Barra's house leaves Barra and Kimmons wounded. Police Commissioner Higgins and newspaper publisher Britt Reid investigate the case while the Green Hornet pursues the criminals. The story is part of the long-running radio series The Green Hornet, featuring Jack McCarthy as the Green Hornet.

A city with racketeers, a midtown office, Arvale County Hospital, and a suburban house on the edge of town.

Listen for: The hidden wall panel in McLean's office and the cash-filled suitcases hidden behind it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
