What happens
Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, and his Filipino valet Kato investigate after Kato vanishes while driving near a tobacco shop on Water Street on V-E Day. Reid's suspicions lead him toward a shopkeeper and a hidden passage in the shop. The Green Hornet series, broadcast on May 10, 1945, follows Reid's pursuit of the mystery as the celebrating crowds fill the city. The story centers on the disappearance and what lies behind the shop's locked door.
