What happens
Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, is approached by Sandra Day, who says she is being blackmailed over private letters after a gangster is shot in the street. Reid agrees to watch the blackmail payoff at a nightclub, and shots are fired there. He then sends his valet Kato to follow Day to her apartment, and both men decide to investigate further. The Green Hornet series aired on 1945-01-23 and this episode features Britt Reid and Kato.
