What happens
Newspaper editor Reed of the Daily Sentinel suspects that a string of city bus accidents is not coincidental, since a small, big-eared man appears at the scene of several of them. To identify him, Reed arranges a roaming photographer contest that prints the man's face and invites him to claim free tickets. Brit Reid, also known as the Green Hornet, has his assistant Kato follow the little man and his companion Mimi after a show. The story follows the pursuit as the Hornet begins to uncover a larger plot tied to the city bus lines. The 1946 air date is given as June 1, 1946, and the series is The Green Hornet.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
