What happens

Britt Reid, publisher, and his valet Kato, the Green Hornet, look into dramatic school manager Bullock after the Clarion hints at trouble between young actress Honey Bancroft and her parents. Bancroft's parents refuse to explain their objections to her stage role. Honey vanishes, and the Hornet's sticker is left behind. The Green Hornet first confronts the Bancrofts, then demands a $50,000 ransom from Bullock, who learns that his contracts with young performers are in danger. The Green Hornet series, a 1939 radio episode aired August 17, 1939, presents the story in dramatic serial form.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
