What happens

Leroy's aunt Marjorie has just given birth to twins, and the Great Gildersleeve and Mrs. Thompson, the baby's grandmother, each want the newborns named after their own side of the family. Gildersleeve consults Judge Hooker's family records, then visits the hospital, where he and Mrs. Thompson argue over which twin resembles whom. Gildersleeve, played by Harold Peary, is pleased with his plan, while Mrs. Thompson tries her own tactics. The series aired on NBC on February 28, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
