What happens
Bronco Thompson's wife Marjorie grows suspicious when Bronco takes a prospective client, dance teacher Elaine Grayson, to lunch and keeps the lunch date quiet. Marjorie moves back to her uncle Gildersleeve's house with the twins, and the water commissioner, trying to stay neutral, finds himself pulled deeper into the quarrel. Leroy, meanwhile, eagerly takes sides. The Great Gildersleeve is a long-running radio comedy, and this episode aired on April 22, 1953 on NBC. Willard Waterman plays the title role, and the cast also includes Lillian Randolph and Lurene Tuttle.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
