What happens
Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve tries to revive the Jolly Boys Club, a men's social group that has been losing members. Hoping to draw them back, he decides to form a band with the club's remaining members, and he picks up instruments and sheet music for the project. Each man arrives with an instrument of his own choosing, and the first rehearsal of the new group begins.

Listen for: Gildersleeve's plan to form a Jolly Boys band and the first rehearsal, where the members' playing and their differing ideas about the music lead to an argument.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
