What happens

Leroy Forrester is growing up, and his uncle, the Great Gildersleeve, worries when the boy starts spending evenings out with his friend Tiger Davis instead of studying. He asks the neighbor girl Babs to help Leroy with his homework and invites Tiger over to the house. The Great Gildersleeve is a long-running NBC comedy series, and this episode aired on November 28, 1951. Harold Peary and Willard Waterman are among the lead actors.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
