What happens
On the first warm day of spring, Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve, a Summerfield man, decides to take his nephew Leroy's piano lessons in hand after Leroy's playing goes badly. Gildersleeve is unhappy with Leroy's progress and the piano teacher, so he calls her to complain. He then finds that the new teacher, Miss Piper, is young and newly arrived in town, and he sits in on Leroy's lesson. The episode is part of The Great Gildersleeve series, first broadcast on NBC on March 26, 1947, starring Harold Peary.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
