The episode is part of The Great Gildersleeve, Christmas show, first broadcast December 20, 1950 on NBC, with Harold Peary and Willard Waterman leading the cast.

A snowy Christmas season in Summerfield, including Catherine Milford's house, the town square, a department store, and a hospital children's ward.

Characters: Great Gildersleeve, Catherine Milford, Dr. Clarence Olson, Leroy, Bernie, Judge Hooker, Peavey, Betty

Listen for: Gildersleeve's attempts to guess the mysterious K-named present and his scheming over the toy plan, along with the tale of Pedro and the Christmas bells that the children's nurse reads aloud.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
