What happens

Fibber McGee and Molly tells of Abigail Huffington, a neighbor who decides to join the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. Molly becomes interested in the idea herself, and Fibber objects strongly, complaining about his socks, his dinners and being left alone. Fibber's pal Horatio K. Boomer drops by with his own brand of mischief, and a visit to an Army recruiting lieutenant lays out the WAAC's qualifications and pay. Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan lead the cast. The episode aired on NBC Radio on January 19, 1943, in the Fibber McGee and Molly series.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
