What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly discover their water has been shut off because they forgot to mail their water bill check. Fibber angrily phones the utility company and then goes downtown with Molly to settle the matter in person. Along the way they run into Junior Wilcox, who wants to use their kitchen for a linoleum demonstration, and Uncle Dennis, who is hard to pin down about where he has been. At the water company office, they deal with a clerk and an irritable official named Dr. Gamble while Fibber and Molly keep bickering. The episode comes from the Fibber McGee and Molly series, first aired on NBC Radio on November 16, 1943, starring Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
