What happens
Fibber McGee and Molly argue over how high to hang a calendar picture in their Wistful Vista home, with neither willing to yield. Hoping for an authority, they visit the art museum, where a guide's jargon-filled explanation only deepens their confusion. Their attempts to find an expert bring them into contact with neighbors Mrs. Uppington and Mr. Gildersleeve, a flower-arranging class, and a stranger with a pocketful of odd objects. Their argument spreads through the neighborhood as each person offers a different opinion. The show's cast includes Harold Peary and Bill Thompson, with Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan as regular supporting players. The episode first aired on NBC Radio on April 23, 1940.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
