What happens
Fibber McGee secretly buys a horse because his worn-out tires are failing, and he has not yet told his wife, Molly. When a load of hay arrives at the house, Molly grows suspicious and begins to question him about whether he has been planning to buy one. Mrs. Uppington, a neighbor, asks to store her brother's car in the McGees' garage, and her enthusiasm for horses complicates matters further. Meanwhile Fibber worries that the truth will come out, and a neighborhood child's chatter about a pony in the garage threatens to reveal his secret. This episode of the radio series Fibber McGee and Molly first aired on NBC Radio on February 24, 1942, with Harold Peary, Bill Thompson, Gale Gordon and Arthur Q. Bryan in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
