What happens
Jim Anderson decides to sell the family's White Frame House on Maple Street after a series of household mishaps. While he attempts repairs himself, his daughters and son Bud cope with the disruption, and his wife Margaret worries about leaving the home where their children have grown up. Jim's sudden change of mind about the sale sets the household scrambling to tidy up before a prospective buyer arrives.
