What happens
Jim Anderson, a father who strongly opposes borrowing, lectures his family after a neighbor's waffle iron is borrowed and a bicycle turns up broken in the basement. His daughter Kathy has borrowed the bicycle, and his wife Margaret and daughter Betty each have their own borrowing trouble to sort out. Jim then faces an awkward situation with his neighbor Hector Smith over a garden sprayer that Jim has kept too long. The family's attempts to set things right lead to a series of mix-ups over who has which belongings.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
