What happens
Jim Anderson returns home from work and shares a story about a scout camp-out in which the Garland boy saved a companion from drowning, and the story prompts him to reflect on courage. His children, Betty, Bud and Kathy, are each struggling with a fear. Betty is nervous about a college play she is supposed to perform in that evening, Bud is hiding from a schoolmate named Bina Brundage, and Kathy has a loose tooth that she is afraid to have pulled. Jim tries to encourage each of them to face their problems, and he and Margaret discuss how best to help the children find their own courage. The Anderson family spends the day working through these difficulties in the White Frame House on Maple Street.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
