What happens
Betty Anderson, who goes by Beth in her new mood, is swept up in a romance with the popular crooner Ronnie Kelso after a luncheon date arranged through his publicity man. Her father Jim disapproves, while her mother Margaret tries to keep the peace in the White Frame House on Maple Street. Meanwhile Jim struggles with a broken clock, and younger siblings Bud and Kathy add their own commentary. This is an episode of the radio series Father Knows Best, first broadcast on October 9, 1952, with Robert Young as Jim Anderson.
The Anderson home, a white frame house on Maple Street, on a Saturday.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
