What happens
Jim Anderson plans a surprise anniversary evening for his wife Margaret, but a family mix-up over a forgotten errand and a wedding present leads to confusion. The Anderson children, Betty, Bud and Kathy, grow convinced their father has forgotten an important date, and they search for clues about the song Margaret keeps humming. Jim tries to find out what his wife has planned while the household scrambles over a punch bowl and a phone call about tickets. The episode is part of the Father Knows Best radio series, broadcast in 1951 on May 24, and features Robert Young as Jim Anderson.
