What happens
Matthew Bledsoff takes his brother Daniel into the Philippine back country to study the Igarot people, whom he believes practice headhunting alongside a settled, productive life. They travel with their guide Yolo, after a stay on the plantation of their old friend Cass Bledsoff. Matthew insists the expedition will succeed without a large party, but Daniel grows uneasy with his brother's plans and his own feelings toward him. The story is part of the Escape series, first broadcast on May 31, 1953, and features Anthony Barrett as Daniel and John Dehner as Matthew.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
