What happens

American correspondent Arthur Henderson-Lutrell is seized at the Bolshoi Opera in Moscow and held in the Lubianca prison by the Soviet secret police. Inspector Golovin, a small round man with steel teeth, presses him to sign a confession of espionage and sabotage. Lutrell finds his cell door unlocked and flees in an MVD car, with Golovin pursuing him across the city and into Warsaw. Helped by an old friend, Maria, and her brother, Lutrell heads for Berlin, where Golovin confronts him near the sector line.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
