What happens
Frank Harvey, an American explorer, returns from the Ecuadorian jungle after his wife Edith is killed there, and he claims the Popoyan heads he brought back will secure his reputation. Harvey's grief is quickly overshadowed by a dispute with Edith over money, his expedition, and her demands on him. Later, Frank is sent to Quito by Clifton of the International Museum to check a find linked to the conquistador Oriana, and his new wife Gloria goes with him. Manuel Pertado, a shopkeeper who deals in relics, becomes involved in the couple's story. The episode is part of Escape, first broadcast on December 7, 1952, starring Larry Thor as Frank Harvey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
