What happens

Captain Hook runs a charter fishing boat out of Puerto Morazan in Nicaragua. He takes on two American clients, Mr. Williams and his daughter Dana, along with two men who join the trip uninvited, Baxter and Gordon. While fishing, the boat is steered toward a Honduran fishing trawler flying a false distress signal, and Captain Hook realizes the party is mixed up in gun running for a revolution. This episode of the Escape radio series first aired on July 14, 1950, with Bill Conrad in the lead role of Captain Hook. The story follows the crew and passengers as the charter turns dangerous and the captain's loyalties are tested.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
