What happens

In Escape's episode Three Skeleton Key, starring Vincent Price, the narrator John works as a lighthouse keeper on a bare rock off the steaming jungle coast of French Guiana, alongside the gruff Louis and the eccentric former actor August. One night at 2:30 a derelict three-masted ship drifts toward the rocks, and when dawn reveals its decks swarming with enormous rats, the three men realize the danger they face. They retreat to the top of the lighthouse as the rats climb the tower, and the men must hold out against the swarm while keeping the light burning.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
